This is my second time staying here. Bar service is incredibly slow and the bartenders are terribly inexperienced. They say they have AC, but never has it seemed to work for me or any of my fellow traveler. Sauna closes at 8:30, massages aren't offered after 4pm and if they are, they are booked up already. Breakfast is amazing and so is the view. The cleaning staff is great and always does a wonderful job. For the price, I expected a LOT more. Very disappointing.

This is a great location and quint little town with impeccable service. Highly recommend the stay and the food. An walk to the town and restaurants with ease. I will return soon

Perfect random stay in the middle of nowhere ( we thought ) in the charming medieval village of Schwäbisch Hall. We were impressed by this old but very well maintained hotel. Rooms are very comfortable , breakfast with everything that you wish for and the round inside pool offering a very pleasant experience. As well dinner at the hotel was tasty and the atmosphere nice. Keep in mind that we are a couple that loves quiet and charming places . I would've allocated 4 stars because some of the facilities ( that normally should be included in the price ) were closed : gym , outside pool ... we will leave those ones for the next visit

1. Substandard construction 2. Old, dirty furniture 3. Toilet door was cutout for accommodating the toilet seat. Marvellous architectural failure 4. The worst part, the most confusing pathways and room numbers. Room number 612 and room number 701 are on the same floor but you have two separate ways to get to these floors, the directions marked being all the way even more confusing. The staff just said take the second lift, which was not to be seen only until you move some 14 meters from the first lift. All in all, not a recommendation if you do not want to stress during a vacation.

This is a great hotel. I have absolutely no complaints. Great location, great (free) breakfast, great showers, great beds, great town around it. The front desk staff speaks English well and is very helpful. Special thanks to Maximilian at the bar upstairs, he helped me find some food after coming back late from all day meetings.
